After graduating from the University of Arts in Berlin, where I drew and published my first comic series ineinander, I moved to Japan for a year.
I created MORESUKINE: Uploaded weekly from Tokyo, which you might know as a webcomic or printed graphic travelogue in various languages. It won me a newcomer award at the Frankfurt Book Fair among other accolades.
My current project is People Not Seen, an Iceland-based graphic documentary about Elves, memes and the world-shaping force of storytelling. I used to live there, too, and return whenever I can.
I have contributed to various anthologies and worked with several international cultural institutions and NGOs, among them the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, Goethe Institute Tokyo, and Amnesty International.
I live in Berlin, Germany.
